PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT
These recommended free e-resources are specifically aligned with the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) curriculum framework as suggested in the CSEC Physical Education Syllabus. Resources are provided under each of the following five general topics of study as recommended by CXC:

The syllabus generally aims to:
NOTE: On completion of this course of study, the student will attain the capacity to create and take advantage of opportunities to control, improve, maintain and promote their physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being and to contribute equally to the health and welfare of the community and country. The varying abilities acquired and experiences attained additionally, will facilitate their physical, social, intellectual, cultural, spiritual and emotional growth.

- Develop the knowledge, skills and values for the enhancement of performance in a wide range of movement and sport experiences
- Promote optimal health and wellness through an understanding of healthy lifestyle practices and regular participation in physical activities
- Develop the capacity for critical and creative thinking, technological competence, problem solving, leadership and cooperative behaviours through authentic learning experiences
- Integrate information, communication and technological (ICT) tools and skills
